Root Needed: Stock rom

---- NEED BACKUP of the ADMIRE R720's STOCK ROM ----

If any of you out here can lead me in the right direction or hint as to what steps might be taken next towards compiling/building it w/ a system dump, or this: https://opensource.samsung.com/rece...od=reception_search&searchValue=SCH-R720_MPCS ?

I am accessing download? mode jumping pin4&5 of the microUSB input with a 301k resistor, so I guess I am looking for an Odin flashable tar?

Would the a backup of all the system files from the app folder be any help? I'm looking for a stock update.zip file I'm checking out that opensource file and maybe that will help me with a restore if possible.

In my case specifically, no; only because the files I modified were in other areas of /system.

It would however be a great contribution towards building a more complete portion of stock. :)

I have been researching and learning as much as I can to find possible solutions, and I will continue to do so. I am currently reading through some writeups on custom recovery making, rom cooking, etc. that I found on both the XDA forums and also Android SDK

Once I have a chance to upload the app directory with all the stock files, I will post it in this thread for everyone. I hope someone creates a stock firmware soon. I'm stuck at the Samsung boot logo. I can get into recovery but with out the update.zip I'm pretty much screwed. so. If you need someone to test any roms I will be more than happy to be a guinea pig for ya! I'm going to leave my Admire the way it is for now, and see what happens.

Here is a link for the app folder with all the stock apps for the Admire.
