just flash the stock zv9 from rhe other thread then update to zva via lg updater.
wait i did mention it!
lol...you mentioned it in the initial thread that didnt say you were trying zv9. regardless the thread that is up has a zv8 that should be able to update. did you try that before coming on here and utilizing capslock and exclamation points to accomplish a fail attempt at slandering my intelligence? I should assume not since YOU DID NOT MENTION IT!
*denote* annoying isn't it.
Getting an unnecessary attitude with people that are willing to help you is not very smart. we are not the ones that told you to test things without backing up and therefor you have no reasonable right to disrespect any of us. If you want to get mad at someone get mad at yourself.
We need to get a thread set up with the stock kernel, and factory backups for zv8, 9, and A that way we can just eliminate all the rest of these request threads, and clean this section up a little.
If you have it Airtio the backup of your zva will be located on your SD Card in the ClockworkMod/recoveries folder.
Unless you did it as a pure backup, in which case it will be there as a backup, but backups didn't work for me once I went onto Broken Out, only recoveries would. Since ZVA is what the Broken Out is on, and for some reason it would give me an "upgrade error." stating something along the lines of the ZV9 I attempted to restore from backup wasn't an upgrade, and wouldn't work.
If thats the zva then that is exactly whats necessary. upload a copy of that 1970 folder archived into zip and upload it to your dropbox or otherwise file host for us please.I guess mines won't work then. There is only a backup folder in there and then a 1970 folder?
.android_secure.vfat.tar 1.5k
Boot.img 10m
cache.ext4.tar 57.5k
data.ext4.tar 258.42m
nandroid.md5 0.29k
recovery.img 16m
system.ext4.tar 352.89m
Does this mean I won't be able to revert bavk to zva either?
Nah go ahead. I just hope it works.
thanks a bunch im downloading right now
Is this backup debloated, or fully stock, also, is it rooted?
I need the information for proper placement within the thread I'm making.
Thanks
no problem. hope it works.
