Ok here is my deem I am sitting in my car at work because I cannot find a better job I get to sit in my car for 8 or 12 hours a day so I feel bored and want to wath some criminal minds (my favorite show) well there are no apps that make that possible on my evo. I try the websites of like cbs but simply don't work because I do not have right codec.

What gives Evo is one of the few devices with froyo and flash and there is no video app for it? Anyone have any ideas on what I can pull this off?

You can always rip the dvds of the show and convert them. And its not the Evo's fault there isnt videos available online. Actually, a quick google search found MANY sites that stream that show...

There is a video app already on your phone. Its called Video...

I think you just took me for a dummy. I already did the same search but when it comes to streaming page the codec that the browser uses is not the same. By the way I would not post a thread for something as simple as justa video player app. What I want is netflix or something like that in order to play videos over the net. I do not need the ripped movies thing that is why I have internet on my phone and it is 4g too so there should be no problem with streaming.

Flash video is flash video, there are no codecs.

ohhh I am becoming more frustrated with these responses. Streaming formats are not created equal like flash content. You can stream completely in flash like youtube or other sites such as cbs.com they are streaming under the divx format which requires a codec to be able to run the video. This is why I am looking for an app that would be able to play divx stream content.

By the way I know what I am talking about and there are all types of different streaming formats.

My bad, I know what you are talking about now. Some sites use Silverlight or other plugins to view their flash streams.

There is no way to install plugins for the stock Android browser. I'm not sure is Skyfire or Dolphin will let you, but I dont think I have ever seen a plugin for them.
