No apps to keep my phone clean at all because they themselves cause huge ram usage

so your suggesting that i remove the apps and just run the ROM clean?

i use Autokiller memory & Battery Defender. had installed Advanced Task Killer & Mobo Task Killer but i removed them.

the rom's oom values are set so that unwanted apps are removed from memory to get more ram.

you donot need to use any task killers.
but if you feel that you need one, just use an
app that doesnot have a service.

there's no need to run a task manager persistently in the memory.

that said, you should use apps that bring more out of the phone, like a good video player, some games, social apps, productivity apps and such. there is no need and sense in cutting back on those....

did 2 tests--

without sond - 43.7
with sound- 39.7

try using app called FastReboot
If you want to clear memory fast, use that app..


I am also getting around 40fps (varying from 38.7 to 41)
