If a Sidekick can do it... I mean it isn't cutting edge or anything but everyone loves old school NES games, right?

How long before we get one of these bad boys onto Android. Piece of cake?

My friend missed the bus yesterday and we played a PINBALL machine for 1 hour waiting for the next one. I've never had so much fun playing pinball.

There IS such a thing as OVERdoing it. While I love the complexities of the newer systems including the amazing graphics, there is something to be said for the head to head combat and button mashing intensity that the original consoles provide.

BTW, Tecmo Bowl rocks... so did Tecmo Baseball

vNES looks like the best candidate for porting to Android but it has heavy use of libraries that are not available on Android. Expect a bit of a wait before anybody ports one over.

i hope they use the same .nes files cause I actually have them all on my memory card already because I used to play it on my tmo dash

GameBoy Emulator is on the Market. Its a start, so hopefully we'll see more of this.

And for some reason it says NES on the thread title... O_o

Did you try any of the ROMS, they seem awfully slow. Agonizing...I think it might be unplayable. What do you think?

theres a nes emulator on the market now
looks pretty similar to the sidekick one posted above
search the market for nes. think its called nesemu
its free too!

The only emulator I crave is a zx spectrum one. The original machine was only 8 bit, 1mhz clock speed and 16/48k RAM. Pale in comparison to the G1 specification, yet the only spectrum emulators available are severely slow. If only we had low level driver access then our dreams will blend in with reality, either that or someone will find a way of using Java VM over davlik
