Root netarchy kernel breaking wifi?

I flashed a netarchy kernel about 2 days ago and i noticed that when i try to connect to wifi it sits on "obtaining ip" and disconnects. i have reset the router and to no avail.

Nope, it doesn't break it. I use it at home all the time.

Try flashing back to the stock kernel, and then do a dalvik wipe in the recovery panel, and then flashing back to the new netarchy kernel

have had no issues with wifi at home,work or school on the exact same kernel.

Same here, did you wipe cache and dalvik before flashing?

I never used 4.1.8....All is swell on 4.1.9 though.

anyone else having issues with wired tether crashing ? Wireless works fine ... Everytime i try to run the wired tether it stops unexpectedly.. force close...?? Any suggestions?

The zip is a fix from virus rom that disables the sprint authentication when tethering.
