Help Netflix app for Android?

does Netflicks work on the Xoom, not a deal breaker but a very usefull tool while waiting on a cancled flights for 4 to 6 hours.
 
i didnt mention playon because flash is not yet supported on the xoom. but yes playon is an EXCELLENT app! i have the lifetime version on the evo...
 
What happens when your computer at home restarted for updates and you're out traveling? Can we just get a stand alone android app? :)
 
the PC at home is the gateway. when travelling you can turn the updates off or let it boot up and have it auto enter your password. the playon app will load at startup if you allow it.

All true and a very valid suggestion, I might look into it. I have a PC at work but a Mac at home, and Idk about using my work computer like this for personal stuff. Sigh... I just need Netflix to play nice with my Tegra 2, lol.

i hear you. and currently playon is only for PC not mac...

playon has more channels than netflix. a lot more. once we can get flash enabled on the tablet,,, whoaa.... :)
 
I'm excited for Play On once we have flash too. :) I use it on our Wii at home to get Hulu, so I've already paid for it- but between the Wii, Droid2 (just got it working the other night, very nice!) and the Xoom, totally worth the $20 a year. :)
 
marctronixx yes you are right no flash no playon :( anyway to port a froyo copy of flash to the xoom? or we just have to wait a little bit?

zetroc if the pc isnt on or restarts you SOL. i also have another one I needed to do a hard reset on my galaxy tab and i lost the ability to reach my home pc with playon while on vaca :( you need to pair the device through wifi on the first use.

having said the above playon is STILL INCREDIBLE. Love it. you can stream your own files as well too not just netflix, hulu etc...
 
silly, yeah we just have to wait for flash to be added to the xoom. there is a mobile site m.playon.tv you can use instead of the app. that wont work either until flash is installed.

as for the PC, i used to run a VPN gateway on a home computer for a while. anyway if it had to restart i just had it to boot up and auto enter the password so the computer could restart the program. i have it also connected to a ups backup.

The app is managed by device and client app. Android client was shut down, since not supposed to be released until the LG Revolution is released.

If your chipset has the need DRM keys, it should work when active again.

If you go to your Netflix account, you will see they can tell what device you are using.
 
right now my lady and her ipad2 are LOL'ing at me.. no netflix, no google voice no tablet friendly app for FB.. I feelso stupid for telling her mines would be better . SMH
