NETFLIX On Triumph

FWIW: I notice some similar artifacts using the NetFlix player downloaded from the web. I don't believe I'm using a modded version. I also keep getting a dialog indicating a more recent version of the application is available, but if I click OK to download it, I get an error indicating the requested item can't be found.

FWIW: I was using NetFlix this morning and 40min in to my program, my phone just rebooted itself. Hmmm.

I too have noticed this rebooting issue. Seems random, I think it's limited to the high bitrate stream. I was chewing through my 3G data allowance watching a vid and it was fine, but threw it on wifi and every 40 or so minutes it just blanks and reboots. How weird! I hope the CPU isn't having issues. I will run a CPU stress test and see if a few hours of that reproduces the reboot issue.

My phone will periodically reboot itself (not on netflix) and sometimes will close out a program i'm running out of the blue but I had this issue with a differnt android phone (samsung galaxy prevail) running 2.2.2 so maybe it's an os thing?

Hmmm. Later in the day, I was attempting to use GPS to find my location, and another reboot. Joy Joy.

I've installed the apk from xda, but haven't spent enough time watching to see what issues there may (or may not) be.

Will be playing with it tonight.

Yep, the Netflix 1.3 APK over at XDA works GREAT!!! Need a nice case with a kick stand now and most certainly an extended life battery LOL

I've downloaded the XDA version, and thus far, it appears stable and without the graphic artifacts or the reboots. Either I installed a bad .APK, or installed it improperly.

New to the forum, and this question is totally out of left field. But when you got your Triumph out of the package did it turn right on our did it have to charge for the entire 4 hours? because mine isn't giving me anything and it's been charging for over two hours

You have to hold the power button down for a few seconds, if you haven't done that already. I had power issues myself with my original Triumph and ended up returning it for a now functioning phone.

I'm having an issue installing com.netflix.mediaclient.1.3

I get the following error: java.util.zip.ZipException: expected End of Central Directory signature.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on?
