Netflix problems on TV Stick

I am having an even stranger problem when connecting to Netflix. I just bought an "android smart tv" stick-like device, with a version 4.2.1 installed on it. I have a cable-tv-router from my telephone-company where I connect every device to the internet. I also have a Galaxy Tab-2 tablet, two Galaxy S3 & S4 phones, an iPad, iPhone and 2 laptop PCs connected to the same router device, where in most of them (including the galaxy cells) I have seen several movies through my Netflix account with no problems at all.
Problem started when I brought this android-tv-stick device and I connected it to the same router. I browse the internet & got some emails with it with no problems. BUT when I download & run the Netflix app the device (this tv-stick) start playing any movie for just the first 5 minutes then it freezes, not only Netflix freezes, but anything other app trying to access the internet did.
Since everything was running ok before the Netflix, I assumed the problem was with my telephone-company so I set one of my Galaxy cells as a portable wi-fi hotspot and surprise! everything went to normal again, even Netflix App. So I started yelling at my tel-co internet provider stating that I was having problems with my internet service. But they proved me wrong since the only device that could not connect to the internet with the router was this Android-TV-stick device. Now I'm confused and frustrated because I do not know how to fix this, and the vendor says it is working fine but without my router, they suggested me to change the router. What can I do? Anybody can tell me what is my problem?

Do you have any information on this tv stick? What kind is it, do you a link to where you purchased it?

(sorry for my laate response)...
I bought this device at ebay.com with this seller: tomtop.wholesaler on eBay
He is not even carrying this stick anymore and to return it, will cost me $40 and I paid $48 so.. big deal. I'll keep it. But will be much more cautious next time, before buying cheap chinese electronics.
Anyways I print-screened the info and you can see it here:

it should say
Model: CX-919,
Android-version: 4.2.2,
Baseband version: unknown
Kernel version: (referred as nucleo in spanish) 3.036+
Build number: (referred as compilacion in spanish) rk31sdk-user 4.2.2

Thanks.

PD: I found that rebooting this tv-stick will keep it wifi-connected for some 15-20 mins extra then after that it will freeze, not only with netflix but with any streaming video (like vimeo or youtube).

I've been doing some internet research about this problem, and it seems that there are a lot of complains from version 4.2 users about wifi connection problems. Thay all agree that the 4.2 version falls into a deep "sleep" for wifi connections to save battery and then the app does not wake-up.
So, there are some apps that keeps this wifi connection by several methods, one is by pinging every n seconds to some ip address.
Anyways, what I did was to search for the wifi keepalive app and the wifi analyzer app in Playstore, then this last analyzer-app suggested me to download a connecting-plugin, and so far, problem for continues wifi connection is partially solved, because it still keeps slowing down the connection and the video streaming but at least does not freezes after this app were installed.
Hope this is useful for some of you haviing this wifi connection problem.
