Liked Madame Secretary so maybe House of Cards will be to my liking. Need something to fill the void now that I finished Farscape.

it is harder and harder to find stuff to watch on Netflix
I thought it was because .. I had seen most of it.. or I was getting more picky.

but it turns out.. Netflix is loosing more and more good options.
they are not renewing / dropping some libraries.
example of the latest loss: http://www.engadget.com/2015/08/30/netflix-drops-epix-movies/

they are trying to fill some of these holes with their own creations.. Netflix originals.
i do admit ... some of these are not bad... even good.
it is a way to keep cost down... providing their own content.

one of the reasons that I got Netflix and liked it.. was for the movies that I wanted to watch.
I think it is .. one reason it grew so fast.
now, are they loosing site of this?

I am wondering...
am I ok with this? so that they can keep the low monthly cost?
or would I rather them raise the fee by a $1 a month.. so they can keep the other libraries available?
or keep the cost the same and rotate the libraries in and out... from month to moth.

That announcement is a HUGE win for Hulu, which I also pay for. It had always been, Netflix for movies, Hulu for TV. Now the lines are getting blurred.

That said, Hulu original shows are cheesy (but not necessarily in a bad way) and lake substance. They can be entertaining and funny, but I haven't seen anything I'm that interested in watching.

Netflix on the other hand? They are killing it: House of Cards, Orange, Bloodlines, DareDevil, etc...

hulu.. is not bad option... but they want to double dip..
commercials... and pay to see exclusive content with commercials

I would not mind commercials in Netflix: before the show.. and maybe halfway... 2 mins.

looks like Apple want in on the action ..
and Apple don't jump in.. unless there is a lot of juice in it for them!
so there is plenty of money in this business...

so.. is Netflix being greedy? they making plenty of $$$ ... to afford to keep more libraries available.
Netflix better be careful.. they are the current KING of the hill.
if they don't keep their clients... do anything to keep clients..
they can find themselves .. in the same boat as: Nokia, Palm, Blockbuster, etc...

I'm currently binging on X Files before the 6 part X Files mini series comes out in 2016. Will also be watching more Murdoch Mysteries now that Netflix has more than 3 seasons.
