Netflix WORKS for non-root!!!

Everyone! Netflix has just updated the official app, on the official market today! I just tried it on my non-rooted, non-OTA ginger update, and it works perfectly, video and audio. No white screen!

Great selection and works great in XScope browser, I am sure it works on other browsers too ... no app though, just got to stream in the browser.

I made sure I uninstalled the original before I downloaded the new one. I'm not rooted, and watching Netflix fine...

Confirmed, I just updated Netflix and video is working. Downloaded this morning and only audio and white screen. Checked market my apps and Netflix had update, downloaded and viola it works.

I didn't have it installed before since I read about all of the issues. Uninstalled what I downloaded yesterday and reinstalled it. No change, rebooted phone just for the heck of it and still get the white screen.

That's what I did, first time I got Netflix it didn't work. Saw on market it had a brand new update and listed Incredible 2 as a working device, updated it, and it worked.

What version of Android is your Dinc2 running?

I'm wondering if having the VZW 2.3 OTA update installed makes a difference.

GB 2.3.3 and in the market it states it is good for 2.2 and up.

Requires Android:2.2 and up

Oh sure, now you tell us what you are running. Just kidding. It seems it doesn't like 2.3.3.

I am rooted with a debloated version of the OTA 2.3.3 and it works fine for me.
