Help Network Connection Toggle

I'm looking for a way to toggle my mobile network on and off from my homescreen.

I would recommend Elixir. It does a lot more than just toggle APN on and off, but is very customisable from a homescreen widget point of view.

There is a widget that comes with the desire. Long press screen, widget, settings, mobile network.
That's what I use.

Widgetzoid is really good and has almost every widget you need, for network, sound, screen, etc.
