I am glad to have found this forum to share our love for the Samsung Galaxy Note series. I bought a Note 5 recently in Malaysia and then I travelled to the Middle East. Once there I bought a data sim card but found out that it couldn't be used with the following message: "Network-locked". I immediately contacted the shop I bought it from and, after consulting with Samsung Care Center, got a solution for it. All I had to do was to call Malaysia on a Malaysian sim card for at least 6 minutes. After that the sim card from Jeddah was able to be used.
