Network or Wifi internet

Going on a camping trip in 12 hours.

My question is: What setting should i put for the internet? People say if i keep Wifi on, the battery uses the battery more. But others say if i keep the Network internet on that uses more battery. So what is better to keep on to conserve battery? I need internet so i have to keep one on i just don't know which one. And yes i will have wifi internet since our charter bus is equipped with a router.

I only use wifi when I need it, otherwise I'm just on the network for the majority of the day.

When you are connected to a Wifi network, your phone automatically stops using the network internet. You will see the H+ (or E when on edge) with a check sign below to let you know there's internet signal where you are, but you wont see the two arrows of uploads and downloads. Your wifi will drain a little bit more battery, but it's not to significant. If you are not on wifi, you should just turn it off.
