I live in philadelphia which does not have LTE yet ....so I picked up the S2 SKYROCKET ....I AM NOW ON MY 3RD ONE...they cant seem to fix it ... i get connection failed alll the time ....my apps don't load properly ....websites never finish loading...and when it does work its so slow....we did the whole take your battery out thing ....n changed sim card ....and even the phone 3 times as i said ... and its stilll not working right ...anybody have any helpful info.....A.T.T. has a 3 strike rule so i can get a different phone but i really want this phone

There is no fix yet.. ATT is useless.. ive bee on the phone with them for almost 2 hours now .. and probably about 8 hours over the past 5 days... want a temporary fix? It works but you loose MMS..

go to setting
go to networks
go into mobile networks
go into acces point names
press menu button and "new apn"

all here is case sensative

for name, enter "AT&T HSPA+"
for APN enter "phone" no " " of course.

leave everything else blank and save the apn. when you see your new apn in the previous screen make sure you turn on the green circle on the new apn ... reset phone .. and enjoy your temporary internet fix

I returned mine. I am from South Jersey. When they get the APN figured out for non-LTE markets I may go back to the SkyRocket. The guy at the AT&T corporate store said he never heard of the problem. I walked him over to the display model and sure enough he could not visit any non mobile versions of websites. By turning on and off the Airplane Mode the internet totally recovered in the browser. I also programmed in a new APN but it wasn't 100%.The visual voice mail and MMS did not work with the new APN.

last tuesday or thursday the woman says.....not sure exactly but atleast a little while

any website i've looked at has loaded fine, HSPA+ speeds are meh, varying, usually over 1, but nothing spectacular, i figure it's just a bad area for it

if you give me websites i can test if i can load them

When i go to the store they tell me im the only coming back but i know there lying.... Prolly jus go back to the regular gs 2 ..cause mine is bad it barely works and when it does the website never loads all the way through and its sooo slow

Try downloading speedtest.net from the Market. Turn your WiFi off and try the test. After about an hour try it again with the Wifi off. Mine would hang and say network problem. My speeds were pretty good for an non LTE area. I was getting 5-10mbps down and 1-3mbps up. Also all non mobile sites would hang and not fully load.

speedtest i've run plenty of times, no issues, and any websites i've checked load fine, perhaps it's just area specific?.....i've also verified my sim card is a newer one for lte

and i just changed from the 2gig to unlimited data last night, and all is still working fine

3rd time might be a charm .....I don't know what happen over night but it seems to be working great now.....some websites though seem to still not load all the way through but seems to be working good .....if it doesn't stay this way ....gonna go back to regula SGS2

I don't think its the new phone--it appears to be software on the phones (to be specific the APN that tells the phone how to talk to the network). Multiple reports around the forums here and elsewhere are showing that AT&T must have fixed _something_ in their network because things seem to be working correctly. Personally, I am seeing SIGNIFICANT improvements in pulling up web pages. Occasionally I'll see a small "hang" as it completes the page, but nothing anywhere like before. And no "network connectivity" errors.

^^^ I think the hang is just spotty ATT in general. So far today has saved me from returning my phone. I am very happy with my Vivid today.
