Network Upgrade

Just a while ago, I received a text notification from Virgin Mobile, reporting that they are upgrading their 3G service. Here is the linked information that they sent.

I was wondering if anybody else in the midwest--or more specifically, the Madison, WI area--is still using their LG Optimus Elite and if this service upgrade has resolved the data connectivity problems.

I switched from LG Optimus Elite to LG Optimus V some time ago, as the Elite just never provided reliable data.

Any input is appreciated.

I got that text back in about Nov 2013 and i have not noticed anything. I have my service down but my bars when i get out of airplane mode all the same bars 0-2. For now my Elite is just an entertainment device intill i get service back on lol.

Platteville WI here, 3G is working fine for me. Not sure about Madison. I know my call quality sucks though. See the auto-tune thread.
