Network vision & LTE rollout

Anyone gettin 4g here in tally? I live out in wacissa so i know i wont get 4gthe out here but what about tally area?

Same webinar look at the slides in your post and look at the slides in my post. today was not the first day of the webinar. And it was not months ago it was weeks ago it's on going

humm.. maybe, but i just looked through the slides from post 124 and the slides from this post are not in there. either way, nothing to get worked up about... its still an update..

agreed thanks for sharing. Not worked up just trying to help. You are right I did forget thoes slides. But they did show them in the webinar. And this is best thing to happen to Sprint in a long time.

I guess Sprint had a webinar today and Network Vision was covered. Here is a report on it... its looking pretty fantastic.

Sprint 4G Rollout Updates - New Network Vision and LTE Deployment info released in Sprint Webinar today

that is great PR / Marketing... hope it is not just all smoke and mirrors.. I am hurtin here!

and we can not even buy phones that are ready for it yet.
I am sitting on my upgrade... with an EVO4G. I want to get a new phone... but .....should i wait.. or take a dive?

So you guys started this post a very long time ago. I do have 4g at my house in Scottsdale, BUT it is only because Clearwire LLC is right across the street... It is not because 4g is here because just two miles south at my work, nada... It's quite frustrating... Verizon is blazing it up. Sprint is not even trying. If they are, then please do let me know.

-Patient Sprint Customer:rolleyes:

Oh and one more lil tid bit. My 4g is running 5 down and 1 up at best. So what exactly is all of this talk about WIMAX being the fastest on the market..? My friend's VZW Samsung Nexus is pulling 14 down and 5 up inside a building. That is fast!

Here are two articles regarding Sprint's Network Vision that lead me to believe that Sprints moving along with this quite well.

Sprint 4G Rollout Updates - Sprint deploys first Network Vision cluster in Kankakee Illinois and promises LTE deployment info early in 2012

One part I particularly liked: "Bob Azzi, a Sprint Senior Vice President of Networks, even raised the ante when he said, "we expect to maintain and even accelerate this momentum in 2012." Eluding to a possible further acceleration of deployment."

Sprint 4G Rollout Updates - Sprint Tower Upgrade Map a clue about Network Vision

I'm interesting in what the 3G "upgrades" will bring to the table... I'm in the ATL market, so I know I won't have a problem when LTE becomes available on Sprint. But I currently have the EVO 3D so I'm wondering ifthe 3G upgrade will be substantial, as I'm still hesitant to upgrade and renew my contract on Sprint. Wimax is a joke here because I can't get a consistent wimax signal in my office building.

i am in Dallas area... hope it aint smoke .. they blowin

damn.. now, i cant upgarde.. got to wait for LTE phone

i'm in San Antonio. Currently sitting in my office building (on a Sat no less) and i am rocking a ping = 243, downlload speed of .04MBps, upload speed of .04MBps. I sit 20' from a wall of windows if that makes a diff. i have yet to make my 15 mile drive home from hwy 281 and 1604 to 1604 and I35 without signal intruption (pandora, etc). oh, the speed test was with 4g on :-D.

with 4g off, here were my stats... ping = 272, dowload =.41, upload=.38

just "wow" right?

the reasons i came on with sprint was for 4g speeds, the unlimited plan, and i wanted the photon (got tired of waiting on the bionic).

if they doing something in this area, i would like to know where!
