Help Never charging to 100%

It never really bothers me, and still doesn't, I am just a bit curious. My phone never charges to 100%. I am using the 1% Battery Circle Widget.

But yeah, it never charges to 100% but always gets stuck at 99%. I even used an app to Calibrate the Battery, that didn't help either though.

Is there something else I can try, or does anybody experience this also?

are u charging it inside the phone? I had two battery docks that wouldn't charge the extended batteries to 100%. And what charger are u using? the moto, or other?

(I ended up returning the docks for refund. no more charging issue for me.)

I have been experiencing this as well with the extended battery. It will get to 99% and stay there.

I have the normal battery, not extended. It doesn't matter if I charge it inside the phone or with the external battery charger or desk stock. All OEM Motorola parts.

When I charge my extended battery overnight it charges to 100%

Did you use the procedure to "condition" the battery ... let it go all the way to zero and then fully charge it? Repeat the process three times?

where does that info come from? I've had 5 batteries and none have required that procedure.

Couldn't hurt to try on this one though? Try draining your battery until it dies then charge it to a 100 while the phone is off.

Sorry, that was actually supposed to be directed to thatguy188 . I don't know where the idea came from, I just always read you should let your battery die down then charge it while the phone is off.

Frequently I have noticed that mine says the battery is done charging but when you look at the battery indicator it says at 90%+ but after I unplug the charger it then says 100%.

I always let my battery die all the way and then charge it fully in the external battery charger. Ooh well, not really an issue I was just curious.

I thought you werent supposed to let lith ion batteries fully drain. I have but i always read its not good for the longevity of the battery. :dontknow:
