Root never ending boot loop

srimay

Newbie
so, im rooted and just installed myns warm two point two [RLS 4] the other day. It's by far the best one i've had installed yet, very quick and i like action on the screen changes. Heres my problem...

Im trying to mod it up and add the green smooth circle battery and a boot animator, to name a couple. I've been tryin to install them thru clockwork, and everytime i get stuck in boot loop and have to pop the battery and start over. I cant recall the amount of times i rebooted, reflashed, restored, i even uninstalled the rom from my sd card, cpu and started all over with a fresh download of the rom.

Rom manager wont let me install from sd card, it walks me thru the commands, and nothing happens!! so when i say it wont let me, it just doesn't do anything after granting superuser permission!!

I WAS able to install a green glass task bar thru clockwork mod recovery very late last night, and haven't tried anything since.

I just dont understand. I've wiped cache, Dalvik cache...

im just tryin to have a bit of fun with my phone and it seems to be more of a headache

I wanted to uninstall/reinstall rom manager, but its the paid version. Not sure if i can do that without having to pay for it again

Try doing it directly through clockwork and not rom manager. And I don't think you should be doing a wipe when installing anything that themes your phone.

Yes you can, not really sure why you would want to though. The paid version of ROM manager is simply a document that is placed on your SD card, not the actual program.
