Help Never get Gmail notifications

I have my Gmail account set up and none of my emails will push, I never get any email notifications. I check them on my computer and I have between 5-10 emails at a time and none of those get forwarded to my phone.

I have Juicedefender set to always allow internet access to the stock mail app and the gmail app from the market.

In Gmail settings, notifications are on. I dont know what else to do?

Under General Sync settings, do you have Background data checked? Not positive if this is the cause of your issue, but I noticed when I had it unchecked I wouldn't get Gmail pushed to my phone either. Enabled it and got a new mail notification pretty much immediately. I don't use Juice Defender so I don't know how that may be effecting things.
