It was meant as a joke...........the only thing that will fix, falsely advertised GPS, is to buy a Garmin !
I was hoping so. Actually, I think that at least one vendor -- might even have been Apple -- fixed perceived reception problems by changing the algorithm for calculating the number of bars. In other words, the signal reception was exactly the same, but now it showed more bars at that level!
And while I never would expect to replace my Garmin with something like this, better GPS would be nice in some circumstances for apps that can use your location and the Wifi location service is inadequate or maybe there's no Wifi available.
