New 4.2.2 Released Dec 2013

There seems to be a teak to the 4.2.2 release for the P5113. I was traveling oveseas when my tab 10.1 told me it had downloaded a software update. Upon installation I am not at FW rev JDQ39.P5113UEUCMK3

Must be bug fixes I'm guessing... I didn't notice any other changes. Might be worth a try for those having issues. Found a note about the new release rolling out here:

Found another site mentioning the new release. Confirms it appears to be only a few bug fixes. But that's probably important to those having issues with it.

@skramblr. From your reply in the "Swype" post I gather you may have swiftkey installed, if so is it behaving with the upgraded version of 4.2.2. My swiftkey was constantly reverting back to the Samsung std board.

I am having this issue as well since updating.

Main reason I'm back on 4.1.2. And battery life diminished rapidly with Android OS the big offender

I reset and got the update today... Tablet now appears to shut off instead of restarting over and over again... Saves me from buying a new tablet

I've been getting the since about mid-December. The software will not update OTA or with Kies. It is getting annoying. It downloads and unpacks but the installation screen stops cold after rebooting the tablet. Samsung tech support is no help. The last "help" was wait for a couple weeks because their server was busy. Not sure what that has to do with on-device installation.

Anyone had this problem? Did doing a factory reset fix the problem?

Is there anyplace that the upgrade file (.tar) can be downloaded in less than 5 or 6 hours, without paying in euros and/or getting lots of free/helper ware? The Odin download came with 5 or 6 pieces of software that had to be uninstalled.
