New activation question

If I were to purchase GNexus retail and activate it, would I have to change anything with my data plan? I currently have unlimited 3G but not sure if the plans are different or just the device itself can receive 4G signal? Thanks

You have to upgrade to a 4g plan.

When I got the Thunderbolt I just had to grab a 4G Sim card from Vzw and I was good to go.

As I understand I'm still grandfathered into an unlimited plan?

If you had unlimited data you will keep unlimited data.

That is correct, you do not need to change your plan to get the GN. As long as you never switch out you are good to go.
