New Android Market Again

I just opened my android market app and the layout is completely different. And this isn't the simple 2.2 market. Has anyone else seen this? It is so much better than it was before. I can't believe how much faster and easier it is to use. the new layout is also pretty sweet and apps are easier to find. I hope this doesn't go away with 2.2 (if we ever get it).

You're probably referring to the market update from last week. Has a curved header up top, with a iTunes-like rotary menu of popular apps, etc. It's not going away.

I don't like it at all. It's been very slow and the top part takes up too much of the screen--it looks like the apps listed at the bottom are very crowded. Oh well.

This has been talked about in many threads here over the last week, so you might want to look at those.

As far as the new market, I don't like how you have to clock more to get to the changelog. I think you just had to scroll to in in the old market.

That's something I always look at when I'm upgrading or adding apps.

That's what really torques me. I loved Fast Web Installer.

I wish there was a way of bookmarking or starring apps on the market...kind of like...hmm, i like the look of this app, but not quite sure i want it yet....but i'd like to come back to it later.
Anyone know of such a feature?

For those of us with fat stubby fingers...they shrunk the search button! really smaller and harder to hit!

you can uninstall any updates to "stock apps"

give that a shot and then re d/l it...
