Help New Android Market bugs

Im wondering if anyone else is running into this issue on the Android Market. My phone constantly shows Dolphin Browser as downloading when its not, and shows that there is an update for digitally imported radio when there isnt. Its also taking its sweet time to download netflix right now.

I've had major problems with the new Market. Force closes 10 times a day, downloads and updates constantly hanging on the install step. I used to get a bunch of app updates a day, now I get one every 2 days. This could be a coincidence of timing but it seems odd to me.

I'm now convinced that this is the source of my lag issues, but of course there's nothing I can do about it.

I also had a weird thing where I'd get an error notification saying "Download of (app name) declined" every hour or so, but that stopped after I cleared cache and data.

EDIT: I just remembered I could uninstall updates on system apps, so I just gave that a shot.

I have notices that on several of the last attempts to download an app it would give me some sort of a file error when downloading from the phone.

Oddly enough the download would work when pushing to the phone from using market on the desk pc.

I thought it might have just been my local tower since I am in a fringe area.

After my factory reset it didn't auto load the new market for me and I admit I am sooo thankful. It was awful IMO and I am glad to be back on the slightly older version. I had lots of trouble with downloads and updates. Even finding an app sometimes took forever as it would just load and load. I know it wasn't my connection as the internet browser worked just fine.

Ok Im glad to hear its not just me. I want to see now if other phones with the new market are having this issue as well then.

the only thing i have noticed, is a few of my apps i love (had them since the hero) arent working right...

a weather app

Clock app

Battery meter app


I am guessing its just because they havent got to the new updates yet for 2.3...


but like was said...seemed like some of these apps would have an update every day or every other... and i think i have had 1 or 2 want updates since last monday when i got it..

Yes it does have a new look and a new really starnge error. As it was downloading it would jump up 3-4% at a time then immediately drop some and continue to hop up and then down until it downloaded finally telling me it was an invalid app.

I uninstalled updates for the Market app and it seems to be a little better. The market itself is still glitchy, but it's not screwing up the rest of my phone anymore.

The market on my phone will not load the homepage unless I open, then close, then reopen the market. Otherwise it just sits on the loading screen. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah mine did do that too. It really is a sucky app. I figure I will probably never use the market app again unless they really change it and quit the auto updates I went a week w/o the update and now it won't consistantly stay on the old version. Quite annoying honestly.

I find it funny how I have almost everything checked for update automatically but I havent had a single one do that on their own. WTF mate?

I'm just curious...with the "new" Market, how do you know when your apps need to be updated? With the old one it would put the ones needing updated at the top & say "update available". I've had the new version for about a week & none of my apps have said they need to be updated. Maybe they just don't need updated but I would be very surprised if that was the case.

Mine will still pop up now and again saying updates available. I usually have to hop into the market and look at my apps though.
