New Android owner

Hi, my name is Garrick. I just bought the Samsung Captivate and I love it. I came from the Iphone 3G to the Galaxy series and I am very happy with my choice!

Hi - Welcome to the Android Forums - Cheers

Thanks Leftyguy, can you recommend other android app market except for the official one? I've only tried AppBrain so far, surely there must be others out there. Thanks again!

Thanks for all the welcomes! Everything is going good so far. I have a few questions, but im just going to do a little more research to see if I can find the answers.

Welcome guys. I'm fairly new to this android scheme as well but love it. You can find pretty much everything in appbrain. Dig around on here and you will find some other places for apps but appbrain is the bomb. Launcherpro is a must imo. Good luck.

Oh, and if you don't have swype slideIT is a nice alternative.
