Accessories New Battery or Battery Port Needs Repair

I currently have a HTC EVO 4G and my battery issue began sometime yesterday..my extended battery would only charge to about 37 percent and would go downhill from that..now it won't charge..do you think my extended battery is pretty much dead or do you think I need to bring it in for repairs for the battery port(this would be the second time)

No I don't..its already at Best Buy for the usb port repairs..I'm thinking of getting my phone back cause they might put the new OTA on there as it is rooted right now.

Definitely get another battery to test as baseline. Also, get a dock charger. They're great! Makes it so I only ever charge the phone occasionally, when perhaps in the car, when it's too much fidgeting to swap batteries.
