new battery question?

So I bought a brand new battery today and I haven't really dealt with the charging with a new battery but anyways.. is the screen supposed to flash on and off during the charging?

Did you get a cheap Chinese one?

I had that issue at one point with a charger with a short... It didn't carry enough current to keep the powered on... Once i unplugged it, it powered off... Changed the charger, problem went away..

I hope I didn't lol I bought it off of eBay and I was thinking the seller was wrong saying it had to charge fully be it could actually charged :banghead: but I'll change chargers and see what effects that have on it
