Root New Battery

I bought a "new" battery off Amazon.com and received it the other day. As soon as I put it in and booted the phone, it started telling me my SD card was removed. Eventually, after a few reboots, it stopped giving me this error but the phone has been acting funny ever since. Random reboots and some FCs. Today, it bootlooped a few times on my way to work and it's now telling me my SD card is removed again.

I figured taking the old battery out and popping the "new" one in would be all I needed to do to start using it but now I'm wondering should I do a factory reset and reflash Velocity 1.2. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Did u reset the battery settings in recovery? A battery cant be at fault for such an event but something to consider.

I did not do that. I thought that you could but couldn't find it. Didn't even think about recovery. I'm guessing it's not too late to go ahead and do that??

yeah theres a wipe battery statistics option in the WIPE menu of AmnoRA. not sure if there is one in clockworkmod.

I would reseat the SD card just to rule that out too if you havent done that already.
