I tried it and it works . Sound is a little fatter in the bass and mids is how i can describe it . It is subtle . I also use equalizer fx . This phone has terrible sound quality and every bit helps so thanks for the post .

This works on the Optimus Elite ???

It does work on the Elite . this is an Elite forum . You have to be rooted at least . I'm on Sleipnir 2.4.0.2 which I highly recommend . The app even has the beats logo on the notification bar . You can also switch it on or off to compare . Just remember the difference is very subtle so don't expect miracles . Peace and good luck .
