New Boost plans

Boost had some new plans available again, now with growing data. For $35/mo ($30 with autopay), you get 2GB of data which will become 5GB after 18 on time payments! I don't know if you get knocked back down to 2 if you miss after that, but it's a great deal!
There are similar plans with higher starting data levels too.

this is where virgin mobile users 1.5 gigs went to. boost. sprint cut our data allotment by 1.5 gb at 35 a month to free up data for boost mobile. amazing. their doing a great job at killing off virgin mobile. cut available phones to the bare minimum and gutted the data allotment.

Maybe that's the plan... I never understood why Sprint bothered running two MVNOs in the first place. Other than tax stuff...

ADD in that if you "SWITCH" to BOOST (From a NON-Sprint Associated compay; Virgin Mobile) you get $50 off phones too!!

TIP: They Sell TRACFONE's for $5 with 10 Free minutes. Thats all it takes to "SWITCH"!
Example: So a LG VOLT 2 would be $30 + $5 for TracFone = $35!!!

Boost is having a limited time special In store ONLY offer, its advertised on the Boost mobile website.

$50 off LTE phones when you "Switch" to Boost Mobile. Some phones end up being free, the Volt 2 ends up being $29.99 + tax.

I called my local Store, and the rep said, no sprint based companys, such as Sprint or Virgin Mobile are qualified as "Switching". So For those already on the Sprint Network based phones, if you want to keep your number you will have to pay the Regular price. But the rep also told me to go buy a $5 TracFone, (confirmed. The cheapest ive seen $4.99 for a junky TracPhone) which gives a new number along with 10 free minutes. That number can then be "switched" to Boost and you will get the $50 off any phone.
Im not sure if you can bypass keeping your number such as to port your number to TracFone before going Boost, or to get the Phone first by switching the TracFone and after somehow if you could change it?

For $50, and the price of the plan itself not to mention Data growing... Id sacrifice my number. It would be great actually having someone local to goto if you need to, and not stuck on Virgin Mobiles horrible customer service hotline for HOURS with no results!!!

Hmm...I wouldn't mind getting one, making my Volt a WiFi only device, but I don't want to have to activate a second account to get the sale price... Any way around that?
