Grass is green unless it is dead. Or someone painted it.....Turtles have shells....Oh I'm sorry I thought we were saying random things without explanation. Haha

You need to give a little more detail to your post. Did you buy said case? Did you see it online, buy it, get it and it wasn't the same color as you thought? Are you wanting to buy this? What's the deal? If you did buy this, how does it fit? Is it secure? Can the keyboard slide freely without restriction? Does the plastic feel cheap?

Sorry - Yes I did buy that case from Amazon and then when it arrived it was really Pink. I also ordered the red and a blue one. They're different to change from my Omadix Motorola Droid 3 Snap-On Cover with Holster (really like this case, I don't have to remove any part of it to fit in my windshield mount. The phone has slipped a couple of times out of my hand and it's been protected.) They fit really well except in the Droid windshield mount. I have to take the whole cover off. :(

Once they are on though the piece that goes around the display is real tight so I'm glad I had my screen protector already on.

I have had only two cases for the droid. I didn't like them at all. Being that there is a slide out keyboard, I hated that it created drag from rubbing on the back. I took them off and gave them away. I now have a Skinomi on. The brushed aluminum. So far it is really nice. Only been a day though. So we'll see how it holds up. I did talk to someone who said he had his Skinomi on for over a year now.

I have the Otterbox Commuter case on mine and I love it. Easy to take off if I have to do a pull, and doesn't interfere with the slide.

Dropped my D3 today. First time too :( the corner of the skinomi came off. and another corner is damaged as well. I will be asking for a different skin or a refund. Either way will be fine with me. Aesthetically it looks nice but has no functionality against falls.

If you're good about not dropping it and don't like the added bulk and pocket pulling stick of a rubbery case, I prefer Zagg InvisibleShields. I've used them on 2 LG Dares, a DX, and now a few D3's and their replacements. They set up nicely overnight and and little bubbles come out within a day or two. If they ever bubble, peel, scuff, scratch, etc. just email Zagg, pay $4 shipping, receive your new one, send back the damaged one, and enjoy a scratch free phone.

If you drop it, Otterbox is the way to go without a doubt.
