Yep those things are fixed. Had to clear cache and data then reload/log in, then it found my device and carrier. Not much in there currently but that's not a problem in the app.

Dark theme is great *but* there are some items that are still using a black font against the dark background, so a bit hard to see those. (likes, post counts, star).
I think next update I will lighten them up a little. I was doing testing on 100% brightness so in that case it looks pretty good. Screen brightness 50% and lower it starts to get hard to see.
Any other tweaks needed or wanted for the dark theme?
I did notice on lower sdk's there is a white border on the card view... will get that fixed too.

I do run my screen at a lower brightness.
It's a minor thing anyway, but a lighter gray font would be helpful and shouldn't affect the look too much.

I got the crash report. Issue with loading a vector... I will get that sorted out. Thanks!
New update is pending. It will fix the crash loading this thread on lower sdk's loading the vector as well as dark theme improvements/bug fixes. We also updated some logic on what device name shows, which fixes Honor 6x issue recently discovered.

Are you testing with the latest update from last night? This would be version 1.5.1.1 Beta. This should have fixed the black on black.
The "My Device" is a generic catch-all for all of the devices that are not currently approved. We want to maintain an accurate list of devices so there is some manual moderation needed. The majority of devices are auto approved via a massive lookup table. The threads you see are most likely before we had approved device specific channels.
Regarding your tablet, what tablet are you using... I will check moderation for it.

Not sure about your Tab. Do you know the model number of this device? I don't see it listed anywhere in our system yet.

Thanks for giving it a test. Right now, we are still changing core code and figuring out the direction of the app... this is why we still keep a BETA on the app. With that said, we know there is lots of room for improvement, speed and network optimization, etc etc.
Would you mind sharing what device you are testing on, current network speed/reliability and anything else that could be a factor?
Please make sure you are running 1.5.1.1 BETA. I currently have no crashes reported for the latest version. Let me know where the app is freezing for you too. Also, you said that setting it up was giving you some trouble... once you get past the login and intro, are you still experiencing freezing?
