This is probably an issue on my PC, but hopefully someone can help. I just got a new computer at work. My old computer was able to sync Outlook via the HTC Sync. I have installed the HTC Sync on the new computer (both the old and newest versions of HTC Sync) and for some reason when I set up the sync, Outlook is not an option to sync for calendar and contacts.
On the older version of Sync, the only option I have is to sync Windows Contacts and nothing for calendar... on the newest version of sync, Contacts and Calendar are grayed out so I can't even turn it on.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Unfortunately, the tech guy will not be back for a few days and I really want to figure this out... also, he might not even know.
The other odd thing that may or may not be related is in Outlook 2003, if I go to the Contacts tab I can see all of my contacts, but if I compose a new email and I hit the TO button to bring up my address book, I get an error message that says "The address list could not be displayed. The contacts folder associated with this address could not be opened...." It sounds like this may be related to my problem???
Thanks,
Jim
