Hello all, new Moto Droid Owner here.

My experience includes one year using iPhone 3G as my primary phone. Horrible drop call performance, like 50%. Switched to a BB Bold for the past year *on the same network* and dropped calls disappeared. iPhone is a horrible radio.

Now using a Bold 9700 as my primary phone on at&t, and Motorola Droid on Verizon.

Have had the Droid for several days now and my first impressions are very good. Nice build quality, feels robust. Of course I love Android 2.0.

I consider the BB voice quality to be very good. So I did a comparison of the voice quality between the Droid and the BB Bold. Droid compares very well. Not enough difference to notice.

What I like most so far about the Droid:
- SCREEN!
- OS 2.01
- Thought I would prefer the Droid without the slider but now I think it's a nice option to have. Get to type without losing any screen real estate.
- Feels really fast when loading apps and browsing web pages.
- The four dedicated buttons below the screen are capacitive touch. Great.

Only one complaint so far really (no I haven't used the camera yet) and that is the volume control could use a little more tactile feel to it. Too flat.

That's my first post here. Have a good weekend y'all.
