New Droid owner with a question

I have a droid and I need to synch it to my gmail account on my mac.
How do I do that?

The phone should have come with the Google apps and when you ran it for the first time, it asks you to associate a Gmail account with the phone. It will then automatically start syncing mail, calendar, contacts, etc. And, of course, that gmail account is not on your Mac, but in the cloud, you just access it from you Mac. So, your phone would not actually be accessing it from your Mac, but instead, your phone and Mac will be accessing it from the same place: the Cloud (Google servers).
