Hi All,

I recently moved to Hong Kong and decided to switch from the iPhone to the N3 after seeing how popular phablets are in this market. So far I am happy with the switch and the device continues to grow on me everyday (especially the screen size) although I have a few questions for the group in regard to applications.

1. Is it possible to split the screen using the same application. For instance, I wanted to have two browsers open at the same time to compare content.

I have also noticed that I have trouble using the split screen mode with certain apps. Can I only split screen with apps in the sidebar?

2. Can anyone recommend the best email applications on Android. One of the reasons I got the device is because I switch between multiple emails for work but I have not enjoyed the functionality of mail and Gmail.

3. What are your favorite productivity apps on Android?

4. When is Kit Kat expected to be released?

Any feedback, is greatly appreciated. Happy to be in the droid game.

There are only a few apps that support multiview without modifying the main app file, and even less that you can run two instances of at the same time. So far I have only found Chat On and the stock browser supports running twice.

You can have the stock browser open on top and bottom, or the stock browser and chrome. I only use those two browsers, so I don't know if others will work.

The stock email app is fairly powerful, but MailDroid and Touchdown are very popular

3. What are your favorite productivity apps on Android?
Depends on what you are doing, like they say, there is an app for that. But my fav's are quick office, QR Droid and the stock S-Pen apps

4. When is Kit Kat expected to be released?
No ETA yet but rumor is the Note 3 will get Kit-Kat
