Hello, I have had my Eris for about 1 week, and so far loving it! I was dissapointed that Apple wouldn't work on getting the iphone to Verizon, and since I was an Alltel customer I was offered a new phone. I have come from a Motorola Q9c and it served me well. Also I have an Ipod touch that is going to be retired for the Eris, so I only have to carry around one gadget. I do have to purchase a 16GB card for the Eris so that I have similar storage that I had on my Ipod. The best part is that I was able to stay on my Alltel plan, which included unlimited text, and unlimited internet for $89 and my number circle. But.... the HTCSync software leaves much to be desired.
