Well I jumped ship from the Triumph to the Evo V. Just wanted to drop in and say whats up to everyone. I will probably be posting here often from now on. I wanted to introduce myself thats all.

As long as you're not afraid to do the s-off procedure you can flash the sprint radios and have virtually no texting issues.

I did and haven't really had any problems. Had to restart my phone today as I wasn't able to make phone calls and about an hours worth of texts poured in along with a voicemail, but I haven't had that issue in a couple weeks, before it was a couple times a day I would have issues.

Well the first thing I did was root my phone and jeez what a process. I am used to the one click approach from the Triumph. Rooting an HTC phone involves tons of patience and skill to some degree. I definitely would not want to have to do the process over again that's for sure.

It's much easier the second time, and by the third, it's old hat.

The nice thing is that it's the same on every HTC, and you know it will work. You aren't hacking it to heck trying to find a crack in the armor.
