New Firmware 6.1.A.2.45

I just installed this as OTA. It has speeded up my phone significantly, whereas it had become so laggy since the initial ICS update that I was on the brink of reverting to GB. The pleasant surprise was that I did not lose root by installing OTA. So, a very worthwhile update for me, so far.
 
You should never! Install ota while rooted, it can have some bad consequences, you my friend.. Are lucky.

I wouldn't quite say that bud, with the 2011 xperias you could downgrade to get root and then upgrade ota to keep root but that was only if you had not unlocked your bootloader, I don't know how good that way is for the xperia s though but fishyweb done it :D
 
Hadn't realised I was playing with fire, but seem to have gotten away with it without so much as a singed finger :)

Maybe I should do the lottery tonight :D

P.S. My bootloader is not unlocked, and is one of the ones that cannot be unlocked.
