Help New Firmware 8.6.5.18-20111028

I had the update notifcation icon this morning, so updated, it now states 8.6.5.19 - 20111107.
Firmwares coming thick and fast.

At present can't see much difference ...if any. I will keep messing :)

Got the upgrade here in Belgium. Solved the problem with Google Earth but typing here is still very laggy.

Damn this place is dead.

Well, since most folks come to the forums looking for answers to a problem, you could think of this area being dead as an indicator that the Transformers are a good devices that don't have many issues.
:)

Not exactly. I'm a forum supporter on other forums. I like to help and well
since I love my transformer I like reading a lot of things that are news and
such. And yes you're right not much problem with these little tablets.

I think it is safe to say that the battery issue has been fixed again. Makes me a very happy camper and confident to take my TF on my next trip. (TPAC from LAX to SYD, yeah, I'll want that full charge to last.)

Same thing with the root forums. I rooted all my other Android devices to get rid of problems. I have not rooted my Transformer.

The root forum here was slow for a very long time, and still doesn't have the activity I would expect it to, I chalk it up to it being a solid device.

The charger is my only beef.

I agree Eris1981.
I keep thinking "I want to root my TF", and they I think "Why?! It works just fine the way it is".
It's not like our old Eris' where you needed to root them just to make them work well.
And while I'm sure that there are many spiffy new features in the various ROMs, each seems to come with their own not so spiffy bugs also. (To be fair, all the ROMs I used on my Eris were also reported to have various bugs, but I never ran in to one that was BAD, and tried several ROMs that were quite good)
Since ASUS is muttering about bring ICS to us, I guess I'll just keep the TF stock for now.
