I have bought my GT-S5630 (Samsung Galaxy Y ) from SAUDI ARABIA
Now i am at India i am not able to update my Firmware
But i have updated through ODIN but it is older version DDLC1
i want to make it to DDLC3
How can i update... now i tried through KIES but it shows

Your device does not support software upgrading via kies

current firmware verison : PDA:LA1/PHONE:LA1/CSC:LA1(XFM)
What should i do ???:confused::confused:

i also faced similiar problems once...initially it was ddl1.
but due to some problems i restored my phone to factory defaults..
then updated android..it worked..
but i am not quite sure that this problem will be solved only by doing restore

update widget was added..also if u wish u have the option for updating firmware automatically..performance was quite improved...
lock screen looks pretty after this update..

after updation thru kies it is still giving software upgrade option in notifications. is it a error ???? or it is normal

ME ALSO have THE SAME PROBLEM...
I have gingerbread.JPLA1 ;I tried update through 3g(it says server connection lost) and over kies(it says ur model does not support initialisation) PLZ help........:( I also hav 'sdcard unexpectdly remove' error tooo... I WANNA FIX THIS( ITZ ANNOYING:mad:)

ANDROID VER:2.3.6
BASEBAND VER:S5360XXLA2
KERNEL VER:2.6.35.7 dpi@DELL180 #1
FIRMWARE VER:PDA:LA1/PHONE:LA2/CSC:LA1(XSG)

i downloaded the update..phone restarts and installation disrupted after 17 %...any help...i hav unrooted phone with no custom rom...
 
plz help me frnds...When I try to Upgrade some error comes which states " Insufficient memory available requires 3000mb of memory " what to do..??
