ugh stupid samsung and their confusing naming.

There is a Verizon Samsung Fascinate that is cdma and model #SCH-I500

Now there is a Telus Samsung Fascinate that is gsm and model #SGH-T959D


Can we get a separate forum for the Telus one? Maybe something like

Samsung Fascinate (Verizon)
and
Samsung Fascinate (Telus)


edit: while your at it The Telus version will need an All Things Root

Why do they have to be soooo confusing with the naming convention.

Definitely looking for a forum for the SCH-T959D and rooting would be wicked :)

Yeah. It's silly. Each carrier wants to pretend like their users have something different. :rolleyes:

With all respect to you, OMJ, I am hoping the Powers That Be here create a Samsung Telus Fascinate forum of its own, rather than another sub-forum.
 
Samsung Fascinate (Telus) forum created. Did not edit the current ones title, hoping it remains kinda obvious that it's VZWs.
 
Just curious, should we rename the Hero forum to HTC Hero (Sprint) to keep things uniform? Or is it not a big deal? (It might help new users who are on Sprint find it easier as when they look for that particular forum, they probably won't think to look where the phones that start with an "S" are)

It was suggested months ago, but nothing ever came of it. We still get loads of new sprint users in the gsm hero section, even now that those sections have quietened down nowadays.
 
Haha wow I just noticed I typed "HTC Spring".. what the heck was I smoking on. Edited it to Hero. But yeah, it seems like it'd be helpful if the two subforums were right next to each other to avoid confusion as to which Hero version you have.

haha It's a new HTC phone...coming in the spring ;)
