Help new g2 user

Newbie
So I just bought my g2 last friday. I think I am already noticing some lag when going from the landscape to portrait view. Like if I open my phone to use the keyboard then close urit to turn it back vertical. Is this normal?

Maybe I am just paranoid, but I just moved from my blackberry to android and I am already in love. I would just hate to find out that android is slower than blackberry.

Any input or tips for a new user would be appreciated. Thanks.

yeah.. i think you need to ... relax.

it is always time for jokes... not time like the present.

you have a great device. enjoy it! I only have a hero! dont even try to talk about lag with me!

PS... welcome to AF.. is this your first android? smartphone? review?

This is my first android device. I have owned 4 blackberrys though.

I don't really have a review, but I can say that I wish I had made the jump to android sooner. The only thing I think I lost was my typing speed with the blackberry. But I like the physical keyboard on the g2. I switch between it and the swype input on the touch keyboard.

The g2 is fast for me. I have tons of things already installed, and I'm sure there are more apps and games I will download. Overall I am happy with my switch, except the loss of typing speed and battery life. But maybe those things will improve.

Oh, and my girlfriend bought the mytouch 4g when I bought my g2. Either of these two phones are a great choice.

battery should get better after a few days...

and when the honeymoon is over.. and you stop turning it on for no reason that to play with the settings. or to try some new app.

the blackberry last 3 times longer...
but I bet you have this phone on 10x more often.
