update to 4.0

If you happen to be one of the consumers who have been waiting to try out the new version of Google Play Store, then this is the news that you have been waiting for. Google has finally rolled out version 4.0 of the Google Play Store which has a new design and a lot of changes in the way things are presented to consumers.
So version 4.0 of Google Play is officially out and consumers can go ahead and check it out. This update is said to bring a lot of new features and a lot of visual improvements. The best part about this new update is that the update is available for any phone or tablet running Android 2.2 or higher.

So even if you are an Android user who still uses Android 2.2 Froyo or Android 2.3 Gingerbread, you can still get the update. This has been one of the most important steps from Google as the company made it a point to support as many older devices as possible.
So once you get the new update, you will get a really simple and clean app store design. There has been a lot of focus on displaying large images in order to easily grab attention to things that are more important on the page. You will also see a very unique color pattern that will help you categorize stuff.
As mentioned earlier, this new update will focus on bigger images, will group similarly themed content together and will also offer you new recommendations as you scroll down the page. So if you are excited about this new 4.0 update then go ahead and check it out. But let me warn you right away that you could face download and speed problems or might not get the update right away. If this does happen, then remain patient because there is already a huge load on Google servers as a lot of consumers are trying to get the new update. Let us know what you feel about the new Google Play.

Google Launches Brand New Play Store

The Google Play store’s dramatic redesign was unveiled today after much anticipation. The new design attempts to brighten up the app store experience, improving usability, capability, and appearance all at once.

The Google Play store is the built-in hub for downloading content to mobile devices that run on the Android operating system. It gives access to apps, games, movies, TV shows, music, and more. The new interface distinguishes those major categories with distinct, color-coded icons that greet you right at the top of the screen. It’s also been brightened up and reorganized, with cleaner lines, stronger colors, and more straightforward segregation between sections. This would appear to make it simpler and more intuitive to navigate. Google has also reportedly improved the purchasing process, which received some criticism in the previous version.
As we engage with more and more media through our mobile devices, including HD content and immersive 3D games, tablets and smartphones have their work cut out for them. The new Play store has adapted to increasing demands for graphic-heavy content, providing visual content recommendations with large, colorful cards. Android users can now process huge amounts of that content on tablets like the Lenovo IdeaTab S2110 and the Sony Xperia Tablet Z, which run seamless HD media off of Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.
The new Play store is rolling out with Android 2.2 devices as of today. Android users have anticipated it for a while, but since it has just been unveiled, a consensus from the notoriously opinionated crowd of Android enthusiasts has yet to form.

I can't for the life of me get my phone to install this version of the play store.

Now I want this even more. I have soooooo many apps in the "My Apps" section that I haven't had time to remove...

I don't even care how it looks. Ill uninstall updates back to 3 after I get rid of the My Apps section lol

Well... the question it sure is a quick one, but the answer it's really a complicated one.
Took me a lot of hours of searching and lots of reading from sites all over the web.

I do not want to sound rude, all I'm saying is, Google is your friend and reading is the key to a successful theme. ;)
