New guy with a question

So I have the Zio that just came out for cricket. Its only running 1.6. Today I got a Motorola Droid 1 from a guy at work for basically $20 and buying him lunch lol. I got to looking at the droid it shows 2.2 and FRG22D. I take it that the FRG22D means its rooted??? So my question is do I continue to use my Zio or should I flash the droid and use it? Im just scare of a flashed droid phone on cricket... or am just worrying to much?

The FRG22D is the build number, it has nothing to do with being rooted or not

If it isn't rooted try this:
[APP]SuperOneClick v1.5.5 (Root, Unroot, Enable Non-Market App, Get UNLOCK code) - xda-developers

If that doesn't work, PM me and I'll help you figure it out

I am not familiar with flashing phones to work with different networks, but if it uses the same network as Verizon, then do it if the phone is better... IMO a rooted phone is never a bad thing.
