I have an idea. Get rid of the 1st post introduction crap. I'm trying to make a post for help in Applications but seeing as I'm new I can't make my first post there? WTF. No wonder there are so many help threads in Introductions because people don't want to be inconvenienced with making two posts in separate forums. Not everyone wants to introduce themselves. Many people just want to make a quick account to have their question addressed and leave.

Welcome! And on behalf on the Android Forums staff I'd like to apologize for any inconvenience the Intro post presents to you. The thing is that there are several reasons why we do this.

Firstly, we want to genuinely and warmly welcome new folks!

Secondly, we're getting a LOT of spam (porn, merchandising, etc.). This policy keeps them out.

Finally, thanks for putting up with us. I hope you find this place to helpful to you!
