New to this forum, new to Android, all I had before was a plain cell phone. HTC Hero with sprint only had it a few weeks & so far I'm very happy.
 
just plunked down my tax return for a Motorola Droid on Verizon. Love it - but I'm nervous about how time and usage accrues. I don't want to be shocked come bill time. What are the biggest bill pitfalls? I rarely use the phone to talk, very little text messaging, but I'm big on emails (sending and receiving) and once in a while I surf web. The new Google navigation also seems great as an option when our Magellan is in use in another vehicle. Does that cost a fortune to run? It would be great if there was an app that kept your bill balance in realtime. A few years ago, when texting was born, my teenage son blessed me with a multi-hundred dollar bill for "going over" his text limit. I don't want to do the same thing to myself this go-round! Wish me luck!
