New Hero

Hi Everyone. I just upgraded from a Motorola Razr that I'd had since 2006 to an HTC Hero 3 days ago. Its kind of like going from flying a Sopwith Camel to an F15, but I'm getting the hang of it and loving the phone so far. So flexible!

Before upgrading, I read a lot of reviews (nearly drove myself nuts). Finally narrowed it down to the Hero in the android universe and the BB Storm 2. Friends kept pushing the iPhone, but I had no interest in becoming one of Steve Jobs' zombies. I was leaning towards BB for patriotic reasons but the Hero had much better reviews and was $150 less. RIM doesn't need me to stay in business!

I look forward to participating in these forums and mastering my new toy/tool.
 
That's right Obama's a BB guy.

But I'm in Canada.

The carrier is Telus Mobility.

Patriotic because RIM is a Canadian company based in Waterloo Ontario...not far from Toronto.
