New HTC software update option?

So I go into about phone>system updates and theres a new option HTC software update... why would they have both firmware update and htc software update, unless maybe somethings coming idk no clue just guessing can anyone shed some light on the subject?

I doubt we will ever see another software update from HTC anyways - LOL

ya i agree which is sad because if i knew that i wouldnt have got the hero which i got in oct when it was new i would have just waited a couple months

I noticed the new HTC option. The Hero has been a learning experience for me. I am glad I got it in December of 09. I am going to pay full price for the EVO in a few weeks, but I have learned a lot in the last 6 months. The Hero is a cool phone and I will always think highly of it, after all it was the start of my EVOlution.
